The Netherlands, having already guaranteed first place by defeating both Austria and Norway earlier in the tournament, rounded off their group stage campaign with a resounding 9-0 win against the Faroe Islands. This victory gave them a perfect record of three wins from three matches, cementing their status as one of the tournament favorites.
